One of my early bikes a james captain I got for a 410 shotgun that I had acquired from a mate of a mate. It was when the fool applied for a shotgun ticket and admitted he already had a shotgun that silly questions were asked.

Not quite a fail as I had a shot gun cert and could legally own the gun. He was supposed to apply for his certificate and I could give it to him, we were just a little bit keen to get the transaction done. I had to keep it for an extra fortnight to placate the local plod
