The complete rear brake caliper from my second ZZR1100 - I went for the brake and the pedal just shot down to the floor.

RD400 centre stand - I thought I hit a bump in the road... no, I'd just run over it with the back wheel

ZX9R pillion seat - dunno where that went, it just wasn't there when I got home. I hadn't even taken it off that day.

A few number plates back in the days when I used to velcro them on.

My mate Steve (Mr Turbo) Noble once lost my then girlfriend at a set of lights in Brighton off the back of his GPZ750 Turbo. He was ar$eing around so Lisa jumped out of my car at lights, threw her lid on and jumped on the back so she could join in the fun. Steve gave it the beans off the lights and Lisa wasn't ready - she did a perfect backward somersault off the back of the bike and landed on her bum right in front of my car. Steve didn't realise she was missing until we caught up 2 sets of lights later.

Hahaha

That is a peach! Lozzo and Stig are tied for the best story so far!

Nearly had the tailbag make a bid for freedom on several occasions, have lost a bottle off the back.

I lost a carrier bag out of my work bag. I was over taking a car and was giving it beans, the work bag blew open and away went the contents! All I saw was a ghostly image of a carrier bag blow up in my face and vanish, I never even saw where it went. I think Aliens took it.

I lost some documents too, but had no idea which ones they were!

I took an ex most of the way from Bedford to St Tropez like that once. Weird cos she was quite an animated burd when she was off the bike and doing other things.

Oh yeah, lost a Nokia 6230 on the M4 doing 120mph on the Bandit 600 when my Baglux bag's map pocket opened up. I recovered most of that, rebuilt it and gave it to my girlfriend of the time. It lasted longer than the 6230i I bought to replace it.

I only went back to find the phone cos I needed the sim card for the numbers stored on it

I've lost all grip, immediately followed by losing the bike. Does that count?

Lost the end can off a set of spannies from a TZR250 on the Guildford to Petworth road once..LOL. It fired it off the front of a car into a hedge. Luckily the car driver was a biker and no damage to his car he found it quite funny and helped me look for it!

Worse one was I lost my passport, wallett, ferry tickets..everything basically on the motorway upto Calais. Id been racing in France and was making my way home. The top flap of my rucksack had come unclipped and a rather un-intellegent friend who was following thought that flashing me in broad daylight would get my attention rather than riding upto me and flagging me down. We ended up walking down the hard shoulder but couldnt find it. Got to Calais and had to sit in a little room for 2 hours before they would let me get home. Was pooping myself for a while there and what a hassle i had getting everything replaced.

I once rode all of a couple of feet before realising I'd left my gloves on the back seat, now sat in the road...wondered why my hands were a bit cold!

And I was told a bob was 50p too...tis oop in yorkshire anyway.

And I fall asleep regularly on the back of YC's SV, only on the motorway though. If we were on twisties and I was asleep, I wouldn't last two mins!
