Correction: Ten years ago you would have but now you don't dare because people take advantage and think the act of suing people for that extra bit of pocket money is normal behaviour

One who books her honeymoon and only afterwards tells her husband that it involves an England cricket tour in Sri Lanka?

Well I don't condone what was said, but what I do dislike is the witchhunt that seems to have taken place?

From one incident, they've managed to trawl up all these other clips of Mr Gray saying sexist things

Why wasn't it delt with before, so that he knew not to cross the line?

I wouldn't be allowed to do that according to our HR policy, I could deal with the first incident no problem, but I couldn't go trawling back through unreported incidents, unless they'd been delt within formal disciplinary proceedure.

Seems to be a whiff of Murdoch getting his revenge on Mr Gray for sueing the News of the World for phone hacking or was Mr Gray's wage bill too high for Mr Murdoch?

This explains all that has happened. Never about sexism.

I just got Fifa 2011 for my XBoX 360. It's the lastest Sky Sports version with commentary. It's very reallistic, I was playing it last night and when my wife walked in the room, Andy Gray told her to "ferk off back to the kitchen".

Thats funny and cunning at the same time

The thing that gets me, the lineswomen involved wont be treated the same as men now, if anything they will be treated favourably.
But i dont think the majority of women in 'mens' jobs would want that, they would want equality and the only way to get that is to to take eveything the man will.

Jeez, you should see the abuse the linesman gets at st andrews, we dont care what colour, age, shape, gender they all get it, light hearted of course.
Some laugh at the banter early on and then dont get as much which i think is the best way to deal with it.

The best way for the female official in the andy gray saga was to publically give him some banter back, show him up a little or challenge him to a football rules off in public, iim pretty sure she would have won that.
I mean, he's scottish, what the hell do they know about football?

Btw, i know she didnt complain herself.
