It is actually a nice size and shape to hold in your hand and hold to your ear. I'm getting used to it and not disliked the size as I thought I would. Pebble shaped as you say.

I did lift a heavy 5ft mirror yesterday, and lift my knee/thigh to rest it on to regain my grip before lifting it up onto the wall. The mirror just caught the edge of the phone in my jeans pocket and I had to put the mirror down, and take the phone out of my pocket to put it safely aside. I never noticed the S2 get in the way of movement like that.

If you root your phone you will void the warranty.

What is the notification icom in the top left corner, and that looks like a no entry sign with a 'i' through it? How do I get rid?

I haven't got a warranty on my S2 anymore is it possible to put jelly bean on it?

By the way I agree with the above, usually I'm paranoid about expensive phones but this one feels strong and hardly notice its in my pocket. I'm loving it...

I know it voids the warranty but I'm not worried about that sort of stuff. I am yet to break a phone in all my years yet...

You can root and update, however Jelly Bean as an official update isn't far away at all. Poland have already had it and that's where the most recent ROM comes from.

I may just wait...

So android do 'official' upgrades to the latest OS just like iOS does?

Yes Samsung annouced 2-3 days ago that Jellybean would be rolled out to the S2 aswell. Just a case if when ur network rolls it out.

Not quite as straight forward as on the Iphone, Google releases the new version of Android, then the phone companies get hold of it and tweek it, they then pass it on to the network provider who tweak it some more. The network provider then sends it out as an "over the air" upgrade. One day you will get a notification a new update is available and you just install it.

The only exceptions are the Google branded phones like the Nexus, they are always updated first.

My mate has one of these and has been using Jellybean for a while, it's not that much different to ICS.
