Re: the PC Gaming thread
How you guys doing in ED?
I've got my Cobra to mostly B rating stuff (I aint paying for A rating, 1.6mil each item!) and I just bought a Lakon 6 transporter...currently ferrying 80T's but will add another 16T once I visit a high tech for the cargo racks. Not looking forward to the first interdiction!! Got gimballed burst lasers, electronic countermeasures and chaff launcher fitted but the stock shields will be pants no doubt...

Re: the PC Gaming thread
Enjoying my trading in a cobra but had a decision to make either get spendy in real life and buy Metro Redux for some shooty thrills and scares or splodge oot on a Eagle and trick it up...
Well all my real money goes on quality vodka so a got all spendy on doing up an eagle and went looking for trouble. Made my 1st spondoolies righteously boiling some baddies fur bounties. Feels...goood. |

Re: the PC Gaming thread
lol, flying a Cobra in combat with almost 200K insurance bills looming makes for nervous moments....maybe I should trick out an eagle and you one of those too...I liked the handling when I had one before, they just can't take hits!
What we need is the ability to have multiple commanders so we can choice to be pirates on one login without affecting our rep on the other!

Re: the PC Gaming thread
How many hours of playing would you estimate? Or is there a tally somewhere?

Re: the PC Gaming thread
Out of curiosity, what controls setups are you using, mouse and keyboard, gamepad, flight stick and throttles?

I did a hard graft today to get the necessary funds for my upgrades, did atleast 15 round trips trading and making about 140K for each. A necessary evil of the game if you want to progress in your ships faster. Now I have the Asp I now need a further 20+ million to kit it out as best as can be for combat...good job it's a good trading ship too...I may get a smaller craft like a viper to do combat on the cheap soon though, just to mix it up a bit. Maybe we should start an Elite Dangerous thread if there's enough of us on here interested in it?
