What was your first bike?

Sorry, reviving old threads for the nostalgia

First up we had little Kwak AR125 (except I sprayed mine black - halfords special - cos I thought it looked cool):


Then the most unreliable piece of tat ever made (but lurved the twisties when it worked), RG250:


Then nice safe reliable VF400, till some tosser nicked it:


Followed by quite possibly the best bike ever made, VFR400R NC30:


And italian exotica then ensued (but ****ed water all over the back tyre and spat me off):


And SV gets picked up on Friday

A X reg Yamaha SR125 bought in February 2003.




Sold it to my training school 6 months later after I passed my DAS. Saw it pull up at the same time as me at HG Peterborough the other day. It had done 17000 extra miles and looked well used.

Another one here for the Yammy SR125. Most reliable bike I think I've ever owned!

It eventually siezed on me doing 40 mph down the A52 (I managed to stay on too !)
