West Pennine Training in Blackburn, look on the web, they are doing special price in Feb, do 3,4, 5 day courses or whatever you want.
Absolute great bunch of instructors, real mixture of charictars but eveyone an absolute diamond. Cost me £475 for 4 day course inc. CBT & test. Had to pay extra for theory.
Experience, 1 year on a 100cc 24 years ago, nothing before nothing since, that is how good the instructors are, owner a bit anal, but absolute top blokes rest of them, anyone want to do the course before it changes, get over there sharpish.

Personally I would not touch a ninja 250, especially as a first bike. They have not been out long enough for a good pool of cheap parts to build up.

Stick with SV, bandit, hairnet etc etc. The stuff you can buy cheaply and repair easily IMO.

You are right about the parts YC. When I had my off it took 3 months for all the parts to come in from Japan . Only 1 day to repair.

However, it is a great bike and I am more than happy with it .
