Lol I understand that, the problem I had was i DID report it straight away and was told to take it to the highways who told me to take it to the council who told me take it etc etc etc until the council finally said they would look into it the next time they were going round despite me explaining it had come pretty close to getting me killed....

It wasn't until I phoned 3 more times in the next 30 minutes to report 3 more cars, 1 probably a cat 3 write off that, they finally sent someone out to replace the Bollards et viola, over the next 2 hours waiting for a recovery truck no more accidents .
Though an ammusing moment when the recovery truck almost took out the new bollard....

I don't know...maybe it's just me but when I get reports at work of something causing serious problems I get on it..i don't put it on a to do in circa 4 months list...

Did you call the Highways Agency? The Highways Department is your local council so I don't see why they'd tell you to report it to themselves
