thanks guys, next step is keys and paperwork sent off Monday morning, then it's the insurance companies responsibility ( if it's found and the police call me, I just notify them), then wait for the offer from them about 3 weeks I'm told.

Just read this Mark, bike thieves are cnuts. I've not experienced anything like this myself (thankfully) so I cant imagine how crap it feels to have your P+J taken.

I just hope the insurance pays out swiftly for you and you can get a replacement bike to ease the misery. Sadly, the SuperDuke is probably long gone now.

yeah I've consigned the superduke to history, it was a fabulous bike, but after 24,000 miles I would have been moving on soon anyway, I've already got something completely different to fill the void and am enjoying it.
