Sorry been busy this morning (I must try harder), not had a read of the book yet or a play with the headstock stand (lazy, lazy biker). But will report back with news on project knacker up the front!

Discovered my brake hoses are a bit short. I think they may be stopping the front forks from fully extending. Best not do too many wheelies!

The hoses will NEVER stop the forks extending - they'll just get pulled right out which will reduce braking efficiency somewha. next time you try them.

Beg to differ old chap. When lifting the front of the bike with the headstock lift the brake lines are tight as a drum so in my humble opinion the lines in this situation are stopping the forks fully extending. I will be looking at either re-routing them or possibly replacing them when I get around to it. However given it's been ridden for c30k miles like that without disaster I'm not too bothered

I've just spent the afternoon doing my mandatory compliance training and it turns out I'm no longer allowed to talk to Spank about anything with wires or LEDs

I'm pretty sure we can chat about LEDs if you really want to.

Wires may be problematic, what is it you do?

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you.... or at least lend you my bike so you can DIY.

I'm great at DIY.

Only when it involves wood though... Do you need any wooden bits added?

It generally adds wood at about 3.5k!

Has anyone else noticed how much quieter it is in our little corner of the empire while Thunderace is out learning how to drive busses? Clearly he is the catalyst for all the nonsense.

Suggest his name is also now changed to "Butler" in homage to his role model. "I 'ate you Butla'!"

Anyone know when Nathan's back? Surely learning how to say "any more fares please" can't take that long. Or has he been taken hostage by AndrewSmith
