The main things that helped me corner better:
1. Get to know your gears on the SV, and know which gears give you the feeling of plenty of available power but more importantly plenty of engine breaking if you roll-off. It will become a feeling. That will help you select the correct gear going into the corner, and give you some breaking power mid-corner if you need it, especially with SV's, its saved me a few times just knowing that i can roll-off the throttle a bit to run tighter 2. Slow-in Fast-out like everyone says. If it feels too fast... it is...so break more in the straight line 3. Vanishing point.....look it up it gives you focus rather than panic ![]() 4. Try not to panic, i tended to tighten up, now its more knowing what to do..as if i was ever going to turn better by freezing up..lol.. now its roll-off a little and lean some more I'm not an instructor or owt, just some points that help me get round ![]() |
