I don't get it. You say that anyone driving down the motorway at over 90 are knobs. You also make the statement above. And to top it all you then confess to speeding too. ...
The most disturbing hole in his argument is that he seems to condone speeding anywhere but on the motorway. Not a particularly well thought out argument considering they are the safest types of road.

Another point to consider, is that speed on motorways are almost self regulating. When they get busy, they get clogged and people slow down - there simply isnt the opertunity to speed excessively when it is unsafe to do so.

They drag snow machines here too. They put wheels on the tracks and have at er. Ever heard a 1050cc nitrous sled go roaring down the 1/4 mile?

How do you explain the 'Blade doing 95 whilst filtering on the A1(M) the other night?

I'd much rather the motorways become speed limit free and the resources used to police this be redeployed to stop unruly behaviour on the streets.
My guess is speeders bring in money. Murderers cost money to jail.

I'd explain it by saying that 95mph in and of it's self is not dangerous if traffic allows it. If they're filtering at that speed, it isn't really allowing it. In otherwords, the implication is in any of my posts that it's safe to speed, but only if you're not doing something else that's potentialy dangerous.

That busa was crazy, looked like he was going to lose it near the start.
Nice to see a real world figure for the SV too.
