If its forecast to **** it down all weekend I'm not gunna bother.
I ride in all weathers so it isn't that, more the fact of camping in a muddy sloppy field for the weekend. Not a fan.

Aw man, I hope the weather holds out

It shouldn't get that bad no matter what.

The weather will be what the weather will be. According to the forecast it should be raining here right now (about 20 miles from AR epi-centre) but it's bone dry and 20 degrees.

It's been a showery weekend but as we've had a couple of dry weeks nothing stayed wet for long. The campsite is very unlikely to be a Glastonburyesque quagmire.

So expect showers. If it's dryer than expected than happy days. If it's wetter than expected then you were kitted up for showers so no drama. If it's absolutely chucking it down then chances are you'd not be leaving home anyway and if you got as far as here we'll still ride but spend longer sat in the warm dry pub in the evening than sat around the field either way there will still be beer drunk and completely random conversations to be had.

Personally I plan to wear leathers and pack an all in one waterproof. Did that for 2000 miles around France this time last year when it was biblical rain for most of the time and was absolutely fine.

Unless it snows heavily, there will still be a ride-out and the camping field will be fine.

Biblical rain all through AR11, Surrey to Yorkshire Dales. Rained all weekend, had a great time and I bloody hate riding and camping in the rain. Yorkshire rain is reet proper rain and that was a reet proper storm.

It won't rain heavy here, this is the South you know. what what what.
