The boot on an octavia estate is quite huge and has a pull over cover thingy. Hey whats the worst that can happen? I realise it was a mistake and i have to sell it.

If you want a vrs get one. Like you say you can always sell it if it's not working for you

Baldy, would you say 155k on a 2007 plate is anything to worry about? Id do around 10k a year max so isnt going to go up much.

06-07 might be available with the PD diesel rather than the common fail, brilliant engine.

Also ive read that the pd is the one with all the problems and the newer cr is the one to go for?
