That's because of the points system.
Each class of bike engine can earn the same amount of points as any other class. So you can end up with a slow bloke winning an uncompetitive class beating fast blokes in a competitive one at the end of the year. Bit weird but thems the rules.

The National rounds go all the way down to Hartland Quay.
Our championship sadly did not extend any further than Oliver's mount this year. A fact which is grating on a few members who remember when it spread to more spots around the county! Cheers.

So plans for 2017!
I've decided to let the hillclimbing take a back seat this year, I do have an entry voucher from my 6th place (overall for the year) winnings so will have to use it at some point! But instead I shall be competing alongside Faith Fueled Racing at the Bemsee rounds at Cadwell Park and Oulton. (3 rounds total) FFR have a new rookie rider for 2017 and my aim is to support their ambitions this year, both on and off the track. They've taken ownership of an SDC built minitwin in the last couple of months so when I can join them, the two of us will be on the Rookie Minitwin grid! I have not done any work on the bike besides looking after the coolant and fuel tank over winter, my main work has been to modify a box trailer to allow me room to carry two bikes and to add a bunk for sleeping. A Fiamma awning should arrive shortly and I'll post pics when I can show the final results. Needless to say I'm itching to get back on track, and at some point to go learn Oulton park, preferably before racing there! Cheers for now.
