FOR SALE: Suzuki SV650 SK1 (Curvy) - Full fairing with matching seat cowl in blue (Excellent Condition).

Folks,

After 3 years of a love affair, I’m buying a Tuono (v-twin – would have bought a TL1000S, but Tuono came along at right price and suitably tidy TL didn't.), so my trusty SV650 SK1 (Curvy) is up for sale. Bike is in excellent condition overall as can be seen from the photos (more available on request). Well looked after, mostly dry riding (all dry by me). All MOT’s, manual, tool kit. Sound, genuine original bike except for a few essential extras as defined below. Nothing missing. Everything works as a Suzuki should!
- Tuono is great fun... but SV650 Sk1 is better all rounder, especially in town, and below 60mph, so hoping I won't regret this sale.

Details as follows:

- Recently serviced at 17,678 miles (by ‘Behind Bars’ – Kennilworth) and ready to ride.
- MOT'ed to 15th July 2015 (Sailed through all 3 MOT's I've had done with zero advisories by Magpie Motorcycles, Coventry).
- Y reg, 2001
- Mileage 17,800 (may go up slightly if sun shines on dry roads)
- Rear tyre: Brand new Michelin Pilot Road 2
- Front tyre: Michelin Pilot 2 - approx 50% tread left
- New battery
- Valve clearances checked at 16k service, when brake and radiator fluid was also changed.
- Most service history (stamped in service book)
- 2 keys

Extra’s include:
- Matching rear seat cowl (plus original rear seat and grab rail)
- Matching rear hugger
- Matching dust caps with pressure ring seals.
- Clear mini-indicators
- Carbon fender extender (protects radiator from crude).
- Upgraded headlight bulbs (55W Osram Silverstar bulbs instead of 45W originals)
- Alpha dot security marked (and kit with paint and dots)

- Tank bag (with removable top section): free with bike (I haven’t used this. It is 2nd hand but v-tidy condition).

Bad points?
Nothing hardly worthy speaking off, but a few minor light marks as expected. No rust, or damage except 4 small paint chips to lower left hand belly pan (see small white marks in picture). Previous owner advised this occurred when bike slipped over on pea gravel. Could easily be touched up (I have paint code), but hardly noticeable in use, so I haven’t bothered.

Also:
- Scottoiler fitted (vacuum) – with dual injector & half bottle of oil (1yr old from new): Will include for £75 (negotiable, depending on sale price of bike).
- Front/rear paddock stands: Rear as new. Front un-used: £45 the pair, or £25 each.

Test ride possible if proof of insurance (3rd party is OK) available and cash in hand.

Wow, not seen a bike look so fresh in a long time! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Redmist. Definitely a well looked after bike, and ideal for someone who doesn't want any work to do, and likes there machine to be A1. I also had iridium sparkplugs fitted at 16k service, so loads of miles before they need changing.

No hurry to sell but open to reasonable offers if anyone wishing to bag an curvy SK1 in readyness for Spring!
