2003 Cagiva Raptor 1000 - SV650.org

Hi all

I currently own a 2005 R6 and recently found a gorgeous sounding red Cagiva Raptor 1000 for sale in my local dealer, only done 9500 miles and fitted with CCC Race Cans.

I bought it a few weeks ago as I managed to negotiate the price down to £2500 and was planning on selling my R6, but I've realised that although I absolutely love the Raptor and the noise it makes, I'm too much of a sportsbike fan to replace my R6 with a naked bike, so reluctantly I think I'm going to sell the Raptor.

More details on the bike - only just brought it from dealer last month so 6 months tax, 12 months MOT, new front tyre, but will need new rear tyre fairly soon (pretty squared off). CCC Race cans fitted plus I have the original cans as well. Only slight issue is couple of small paint chips on the tank, very tiny though.

Would be happy to allow test rides so long as I have a cash deposit for the full price of the bike first. The bike rides and runs perfectly, have used it to commute on for the last 3 weeks and it has been faultless.

Not sure what price to ask for it now but as I recently paid £2500 (and it was on for £2999 at the dealers) then offers not far off that amount.

Havent taken any photos of it yet but will try and add some later, could also email pics to people if they ask.

I'm based near Baldock in Hertfordshire, which is around Junction 10 of the A1.

Dizzy'll shoot me for this, but by 'eck they don't half look tonnes better without the Jar-Jar Binx style half-front fairing on.
