Hope you get the bugger started. I had a similar problem with the ignition barrel until I swapped it for the spare key, think I must have warn the other down over time so it wasnt locating properly unless you wiggled it about a bit.

Worth a try once running.

I no for people local with svs and they all have the same problem and me to and my lock set is about a month old .

Well done on bottoming the problem fella. I would not entirely give up on the SV as a consequence of this. Annoying problems can occur with ANY bike and let's face it you are very unlikely to now have a repitition with the SV?
