Cylinder Head Bolt Size
Hi
As my bike is currently over in Northern Ireland, so have to take tools over with me. I seem to recall the cylinder head bolts can't be undone with a standard 1/2" drive socket, so was going to get a long reach socket, but can't remember what size socket I need, so anyone know what size they are please? Cheers Stuart |

Re: Cylinder Head Bolt Size
They're nothing too odd-ball. I seem to remember they're in the 12-14mm region. I may be able to check later if needed?

Re: Cylinder Head Bolt Size
According to Robinsons Foundry it's 09103-10272 - (10 x 160mm) £4.83
Lots of SV bits are reduced atm.

Re: Cylinder Head Bolt Size
Thanks guys.
If you could measure what socket I would need I'd be grateful as don't want to buy the wrong size and only find out when over there. Cheers Stuart |

Re: Cylinder Head Bolt Size
Just take an adjustable spanner, you know the type we use at work. One size fits all

Thanks for that Dickie, trouble is I haven't got anywhere to stand on the bike to boot it round, should it be tight!
