Re: Project Thou!
Excellent. As soon as you get them can you tell me if they look as ropy around the lens as the picture makes out. I really like the style but they do look a bit rough around the edges.

Re: Project Thou!
Well time to update: (beware you may not like this! but i've not done it for others)
I got myself 2 cans of Plasti-dip Blaze orange, I learnt that 1 can of Plasti-dip equates to 1/2 a normal can of spray paint, probably due to it being rubber. I've ordered 3 more cans, so i can get front mud guard and belly pan done and then go over everything again to give it a thicker coat. Benefit of plasti-dip is that if i don't like it, then it all peels of and i'll go back to standard silver.

Re: Project Thou!
Never mind all that, do those mirrors look better finished than the ebay photo suggests?

Re: Project Thou!
Also, if you've not done so already, take the steering damper off. Improves handling about a million%. Unless of course yours has been serviced and/or replaced recently in which case improvement may be a bit lower.

Re: Project Thou!
Yeah I read the threads about it. Checked mine and it runs nice and smooth. I have no issues with turn in and can feel when the front end is coming up.

remember and notify DVLA and your insurance company of the colour change. if you dont you will get pulled by the plod as the bike will come up as silver.

Re: Project Thou!
How does the handling improve Mark h ?... steering damper is fitted to stop any tank slappers from getting out of control...
