Re: Interesting article in the Evening Standard tonight about biking
ermmm they might as well do a study on most road users then. why do they continually target motorcyclists with such studies. when are they going to wake up to the fact that they need to up the requirement to drive a car and make it a tier system like the bike test. i'm personally pizzed off that the onus is continually put in the bikers ball park while car drivers and to me less qualified to be on the roads. why should a biker have to be a better driver.
there are far too many people on the rods that should not be on them and i would welcome resit tests every 10 years till the age of 70 then every 3 years afterwords. road rage is a fact of life as threatening ones life results in protection or retaliation. every single person has a 'fight or flight' reaction to confrontation which results in how they deal with possible road rage situations. teaching people with the 'fight' reaction can reduce the possibility of them doing it but it will never fully remove it. |

Ronnie Pickering achieved unexpected fame when the video caught on a GoPro was uploaded to YouTube, showing the three-minute long confrontation on 21 September.
The 54-year-old called the moped rider a “c***” and “f***ing muppet”, while remonstrating him for “f***ing hanging about” and challenging him to a fight. http://m.hulldailymail.co.uk/Road-Ra...ail/story.html
