Default Joined the fold again (for the third time!)

I picked up this little beauty on Sunday. Wasn't a bargain but then it's only got a smidge over 7600 miles on it. It's in near pristine condition and everything works a charm on it.

As soon as I got home, that screen came off, the baffles came out and the chain was degunged. It sounds really nice with the Scorpions in place.

It's super, super clean - a testament to its previous owners who clearly kept it away from winter weather. I won't be doing that though as I'm a year round rider, but it'll be getting cleaned properly once a week.

The screen's for sale if anyone's in the market for it. It comes with the required brackets.

And can anyone confirm the size of the rear wheel nut, the chain is slack and I don't have the correct socket size for it!

Won't you have some sort of socket in the toolkit?

I do but it's pathetic, it's about 3" long and has a daft little handle. How they expect you to crack off over 100lb of torque with that thing is beyond me.

I bought an official belly pan and fitting kit from CMNSL (or whatever it's called) - eye wateringly expensive, but worth it, the bike looks incomplete without the pan in my opinion. Hoping it should be here next week.

On the 1000? Maybe you mean 34?

I had to buy a separate socket for mine as my socket kit which had a 24mm in it, did not have a big enough one.

I keep meaning to look at the one I had to buy but I'm certain it ain't 24mm.

Nah, I know it's not 24mm - that nut is WAY bigger than that. It'll be 34 to 36mm I think. I'll just use my calipers to measure it tonight haha, I'm so lazy.
