Default Speedo reading random numbers

Bike: Suzuki SV650s '03

This doesn't happen everytime I go for a ride, about 70% of the time.

The speedo just reads random numbers, apparently I hit 126mph whilst wheeling it out of my driveway?
It continues to read random numbers for the duration of a ride and doesn't improve.

Does anyone know what the cause is and how to solve the problem?

You need to test the speedo drive, and take the front wheel off and check the rotor

Or just stop pushing your bike at 126 mph.

I had a Triumph TT600 that used to do this , upon checking the circular magnet in the speedo was cracked and goosed .

Why do you wheelie out of your drive?

Remove front wheel and check the speedo rotor. This is possibly broken/damaged
