2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX636R

Hello and welcome to the sale of my pride and joy Oyuki the Kawasaki Ninja ZX636R.

I'm moving on to pastures new in the bike world and trying out the supermoto scene so need to sell my sports bike to raise
the neccessary funds. I've owned her for just over a year and in that time she has never let me down, starts on the push of
a button, rides sweet as a nut and zero mechanical problems. She has been serviced at regular intervals and at 20k had her valve
clearences checked and a major service. She has always ran on high octane petrol (some say it does nothing but she always got the best)
and has a few tasteful mods.

K&N High Air Flo filter
Powerbronze Double Bubble screen in dark tint
Original screen
Harris Racing ZX6R Grips
Black HEL race brake lines(2 front, 1 rear setup)
Spare set of green HEL brake lines

Gold Short stubby brake and clutch leavers
Seat Cowl
Extremely Rare Micron full racing system (downside is if something goes wrong you can't get parts anymore as Micron went bust)
Evotech Tail Tidy with additional plastics removed for a better look
Clear indicator cases instead of the ugly orange ones
Armstrong wavy discs
R&G Crash Bungs
Plenty of life left in the chain, tyres and brake pads.

Not so good points
The bike is 9 years old now so has a few nicks here and there
Some black marks on the back plastics due to luggage carriers
Some parts of the bike are painted white due to the previous owner covering it with stickers
Bike was a CAT D in 2007 due to a very minor front nose bump which broke the air intake plastic which I have since replaced
Can make you ride a bit like a hooligan

With the mods made and having it properly tuned for the can and air intake she pulls consistantly through the rev range and has
a good amount of low end grunt compared to a stock ninja. I've tried to be as honest as I can with the description but if you have
any questions then feel free to PM me. I know this bit sounds weird but ideally i'd prefer to sell her to someone that is going to
use her and not stick her in a garage and do 200 miles a year, she deserves better than that.

I'm looking for £3000 for her and the bike is located near Newport.

I thought you were legally obliged to inform the buyer of the vehicle being written off.
I may be wrong though.

People should always run a HPI check on a vehicle before buying it, at the end of the day I know nothing about the accident and it doesn't affect the bike in anyway, it was 8 years ago.

If someone asks me If it is HPI clear, I'll say no. Not saying something isn't the same as lying.

Know your vehicle history. It's a good idea to include a vehicle history report in your listing. Listings with vehicle history reports from AutoCheck by Experian get a boost in Best Match search results. If you list fewer than 7 vehicles in a calendar year, a free vehicle history report will be included in your listing. If you sell 7 or more vehicles in a year, you can have a vehicle history report included in your listing for a fee. UK law states that a private seller doesn't have to disclose the status of the vehicle, the onus is on the buyer to run a HPI check, only trade sales must declare if it is not HPI clear.

Either way once an HPI report is run, I think most people would be put off by the dishonesty by not disclosing it in the first place. By letting people know what they are actually buying is better than trying to hide it . . .
