Steering damper

I have a 1999 sv650 mini twin and I want a steering damper could any one point me in the direction of one that will fit please.. Cheers

sprint are awsome, they had one knocking about, they gave us the damper, the smart oval bracket for the frame and bits and bobs, £70, !!!!!!!!!! ,apparently they save the slightly scratched bodies that the road riders wont buy, and sell them to the racin lads, how ****in awsome is that, if you go to another company your a chump, simple

I rang sprint and they don't do them any more for the sv he said the bloke that had designed them had left,is there any more dampers for the sv? Cheers

I asked sprint via email for a fitting guide for their model - OKS9 which is the damper for a 99-02 SV and was sent it today in pdf format, after reading your reply on this thread today, I've replied asking if they still supply it, I'll let you know if I hear any different from you.


In the meantime I've dug this up, incase you find a second hand one.............

get a universal one of ebay, and get an engineering firm to the fixings, ,,,,,,,,rob

I have a brand new LSL damper, 120mm stroke, will take £50 for it , but you would need to make brackets.
