Here is the SES bracket,

as you can see its pretty simple, the "arms" are quite bendy but I think getting em well warmed up will help as I noticed it wasn't bending at the curve bit but the whole thing started to bend! I only needed a small tweak tho.

If I remember I will get some fitted pics.

Oh and if you want to get fancy what about 999 fairings!! (I have a set waiting for the inevitable crash!!)

Took the wheels off this evening ready for tyre swap as its looking hopeful for a mostly dry day on monday.

Very glad I did, cos the front brake caliper bolts were loose, obviously had them on finger tight whilst refitting stuff and never got round to the final tighten. Very annoyed with myself for that but glad I caught it now. doh.

So its time for Blyton Park trackday part deux.

With the forecast giving a dry day, the supercorsas were fitted on the friday and with the car fully loaded, an early start saw me heading off at 5.30am Monday across the bridge into Lincolnshire.

One month on, and the temperatures were even colder than last time.
Thankfully the warmers were a great new addition to the setup and with the usual briefings done, we headed out for the sighting laps.

One chap on a supercorsa shod gsxr 600 went down at the first corner of the sighters, so I was glad I knew mine were warm already!

This time the Novice group was definately more novice, that helped my confidence along with the awesome grip of the pirellis, I did get a bit more lean on this time but was mainly just having lots and lots of fun, the first complex of corners a real hoot, taking what felt like loads of corner speed in and letting the engine brake me ready for the quick flick onto the back straight.

My top speeds were higher on the straights and speed thru the quick section at the end also up.

Still I got it wrong tho, but with the run off concrete I was able to bounce thru the mistakes and get back on the tarmac with nothing more than a red face.

Some battle scars encountered in the pits tho, scratched the tank with the jerry can and then dinted it when the bike fell onto my car / front stand whilst getting the rear stand in place. But I'd have taken that anyday than a fireball down the back straight. Also my helmet rolled off the car roof so looks like more expense to get that replaced.

Anyway here's pics. And a quick video showing some traffic dealing and some decent laps.

My setup:

Video:
Sorry for the sound and shakes, I think my camera tether needs a re-think.
A few clear laps upto 3mins in.

That bike looks great, you've done a really good job with the fairings etc. And the vid looks good too. Looks like you're getting a lot faster. Always nice to be in a few noobs to get the confidence going. After all we were all there at some point right?
