Battery cell replacement.
This has been discussed before on here but can't be bothered to search beyond battery which throws up loads.
I've got a few battery tools which I use every day, the main one I want to sort out is a 18v Mikita drill battery. I bought it about two years ago with two 1.3ah batteries, the one battery is fine, I can't understand how one can be perfectly fine and the other doesn't hold much charge when they have been used equally the same. Anyway, a new battery is £35, I'd rather try the new cell method but need some guidance, where to buy from etc, can I improve them from 1.3ah? I think it was Gav who did this before Any help appreciated. Phil |

Re: Battery cell replacement.
Speak to one of your sparky mates. My mate managed to get the cells at about half the price that I could from a wholesaler that he used.
Is it a li-on pack? |
