Default '08 Honda CBR600RR

Pains me to do this but I've now got a 60 mile commute and I don't want to subject her to it!

Bike is a 58 plate pearlescent white / red CBR600RR8 with 19.5k miles (about half UK and half touring various countries in Europe). I'm the 2nd owner and purchased with 600 miles on the clock. Serviced annually, have all the stamps and I also changed the oil & filter every 3k miles out of ritual (fully synthetic).

Had the major 16k service last July including valve clearances with a new chain (DID) and sprockets (JT) fitted. MOT'd until December, has a brand new Bridgestone S20 on the rear (front is BT016 Pro, the S20 is the new replacement for the 016 Pro which is apparently better in the wet and lasts longer).

Mods:
Leo Vince SBK Carbon slip on exhaust (makes a great noise, check out youtube) (also have original can)
R&G Crash Bungs
R&G Tail Tidy (have original)
Gel Seat custom made by Tony Archer
EBC HH Brake Pads
HRC Tank Pad
Carbon Fibre Exhaust cover (not pictured)
Honda Racing Cowl (have pillion seat)
Puig Double Bubble Dark Smoke screen

Regularly cleaned and sealed using zaino Z2 which gives a hell of a gloss.

Had a very low speed bump back at the start of 2011 which meant I had to replace the nose cone which cracked but the crash bungs protected the rest of the bike. Had the bike checked over by Honda and also JHS Racing in Bristol out of prudency and no damage to forks / front end was found. Forks came out last month for fork oil change and had them triple checked for straightness and they're spot on. I've also ridden it ~18k miles since including all over Europe and it hasn't set a foot wrong.

Price is £3,950 as I've been offered a part ex against a 1200GS now. It's now on 23k and was serviced last month and had a new battery (yuasa, not pattern replacement) with a fork oil change and suspension set up. makes this by far the cheapest facelift CBR in the country and has been meticulously looked after.

Are you sure you wouldn't like to do a straight swap for a cbr600f 1998, 20k miles, VERY comfy and perfect for a commute??

After ditching the idea of selling back in Summer, I've now found a nice daytona I like the look of so wondering if anyone is interested in the CBR?

I'm not sure I can bring myself to part with it but want to try something different.

Bike now has new BT-016 Pro's front and rear and taxed for 12 months.

This is back up for sale as I've moved house now with a longer commute. Original post above has been amended and I'll take some new pictures this weekend. Going on biketrader on Saturday.
