Re: EarPLugs
I tried loads of different pairs, I found these
http://www.earplugged.co.uk/acatalog/Laser_Lite.html work best, comfiest, and give the best sound proofing.

Re: EarPLugs
Tried but they didn't have the ones to fit in my ears! HEEH Moulded ones sound like aplan, not too sure if they do those over here in NZ,. Hmmm, maybe I see a market for that sort of thing!! , I'll pop down the local DIY shop and get some bath sealer and try it on the local bikers!?

Re: EarPLugs
I use something similar to this:
http://www.discountofficeproducts.co...at=8980&page=1 Got them from my Bro-in-law (Builders), and they're very good. Comfy too. |

Re: EarPLugs
I'm using Tescos own brand. They're cheap and much, much better than the ones that I bought from Boots in Heathrow.
Moral of the story - avoid earplugs from airport shops. |

Re: EarPLugs
Sad isn't it that we are talking about earplugs, something so Inane! ALSO, sad too is the fact that i took the time to download an image of them!
I bought these beacuse they look pretty funky. ALSO, they have the cord between them which I thought would be handy if one drops out if when I take off my lid. Makes it easier to locate. Reminds me though of the mittens that kids have! Will have to thread the cord through my 'buff' |

Re: EarPLugs
I'd suggest if they are in danger of falling out when you remove your helmet then unless it's the tangling of the cord in the first place then you're not wearing them properly. I'd agree with the second comment (that I've spaced out). I use corded ear plugs and then cut the cord so there's just 10mm at the end. Lot easier to get 'em out then.

Re: EarPLugs
I've been using these
http://www.protecdirect.co.uk/Dispos...ugs/NO%20TOUCH They have a good noise reduction rating and you just insert them using the peg, no need to roll etc. I find them very easy to use and live with, and no, the peg isn't a problem rubbing on the helmet lining. I found most of the roll-types (Max, Max-lite etc) were tricky to get exactly right every time, very annoying when they are not balanced left/right. |

Re: EarPLugs
They look quite clever. Unfortunately they aren't the ones supplied at work If I see a trial pair anywhere I might pick some up.
Deffo agree with problems of getting rolled ones right every time. I never manage it and it is very annoying. |
