Lego Collections
Did you fail to grow up like me?
My collection has been built over many years, my earliest sets were released around 1989/1990, probably being given to me a year or two after this date. I've got 42042 & 42043 stashed for a couple of rainy weekends that will add to this, but I've really run out of space at this stage! Technic Falling Water & The Louvre from the Architecture series & the Simpsons House Ice Planet / Blacktron / MTron Late 70's Space Sets, I'm not attached to these and they are to be sold when I get motivated, I acquired them in a large bucket of lego when I was very small. |

Re: Lego Collections
Just Lego Star Wars for us. My youngest and I pick it up when it's cheap, usually on Amazon. Got a Dual on Geonosis to do this year, might go start it now. Great father / daughter activity, I pick out the pieces and she assembles.

Re: Lego Collections
I used to buy Lego as a joint present for my son & daughter each year for many years plus additional sets as and when. When they left home, the Lego was left behind and I now have a 3ft cube box in the cupboard full of it. Now my son is a father, I am waiting for him to claim it back.

Re: Lego Collections
I used to love building lego with our eldest, younger brother was not into it at all, I was gutted when he sold it all, but then if I am honest I was gutted when he grew out of having a parent (me) help him build it

Re: Lego Collections
Here's two of my kits, the Le Mans racer is new this year, the helicopter is about three years old.
The car is 50 cm long and has all 'round independent suspension, the 'copter is 70 cm long including the rotors and is so complicated it's untrue! Pete
