SV1000 sidestand pics please
Hello, finally swapped out my 650 for a 1000 The previous owner had a full race 2 into 1 system on it and as he didn't need it, cut the little sticky-out bit off of the sidestand. (coz the 2 into 1 goes down the right hand side.)
I've now put the original system back on and found you can not drop the side-stand without burning a hole in your boots. Could someone take a picture of the sidestand on the 1000 so I can see what size/shape of sticky-out bit I need to get wealded on to save me burning right through my boot. Cheers, Mark

Any idea if it's the same for the naked as the faired? Seem to be a few on Flea-bay, but some look different to others. Some, like yours, have the boot-hook bit fitted to the top and come down. Others have it sticking out from the bottom.

dunno mate, ive only ever seen ones like mine, when the stand folds up just a small amount of that bar sticks out just enuf to get your boot onto, i did think of cutting mine off cus it looks rubbish IMO but it serves its purpose.

Got a hole in my boot that says you need a big one.
