Default Datatool Veto Evo Alarm

My key fob has gone a bit iffy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont. I have changed the battery but the problem still persists. Has anyone one ever bought a replacement keyfob and programmed it as described on the datatool web site. It seems like a really complexed procedure and i just wanna know is it work the effort or should i just sack the alarm off.

Check the antenna wire, can't remember which colour it is though, to make sure its still stretched out as far as posible and not lurking under the subframe, etc....

It's worth doing, and simpler than it sounds/reads.

I did on my System 3 last year after losing a remote. Worked fine.

If the keyfobs for a System 3 and a Veto Evo are the same, I have a spare brand new S3 fob in a sealed plastic bag going spare, pm me for a price.

You'd need to programme it obviously

the veto evos i think have the old square type remote, you have to do somthing like take one of the triger wires and connect it to the positive terminal of the battery, you can then program remotes.
