While you were at work. . .

. . . I wasn't .

So I hopped on the bike and set off.

Found a fantastic road. The Pennine Massive probably know it. I think it's the B6160?, off A65 on to Grassington and Pately Bridge. Passes by Burnstall and Bolton Abbey.









Stopped for lunch at Bolton Abbey. Fantastic place. I'd not been before, and will definitely be going back!



Had to share my lunch with these two. They made such a racket I had to feed them.




Then I decided to work off the calories I'd just ingested by walking to the next car park. Those than know Bolton Abbey, I was at the Cavendish Pavilion and intended to walk up to Strid Visitor Centre. But half way there I was absolutely shattered and had to turn back

And to divert my attention from how lazy and unfit I've become, I enjoyed the scenery. It is a truly beautiful place.





They allow small dinghies and canoes on here Luckypants. May be better than Wales .

Then back to the pavilion to rest my weary self...... again







Quick stop at Bolton Abbey Fountain. . . despite the double yellow lines



Then off to Pately Bridge, Ripon, Harrogate and finally home.

Next week I intend to drive to Bolton Abbey and run the entire length of the place!!!

And I'm looking into getting a better camera. Any suggestions? Up to £500.

I cant see them as im at work... but Ill look forward to having a look.

I managed to get out for a couple of hours. Went down to Scarborough (from Fylingdales on the A169) and got GTA4 then rode back. Was a great ride, really really warm!

i think pictures like this should be banned on this forum!! only joking least one of use is getting value for money on their road tax. Its been raining here in kent the last week, to night was first decent night so me and my dad popped out but it was rele cold.
