Default Evotech fitting + mini indicators up front

Couple of questions.

Right, firstly I bought this bike as it is now. I decided that I wanted standard indicators with clear lenses, so bought a new evotech tail tidy, and the oval hole for the indicator isn't big enough to fit the standard indicator bracket and rubber.

Am I doing something wrong or is the hole too small?

Rubbers dont fit in hole, and the plastic bracket shows how little room there is.

Now I think the mini's have grown on me, so I'm thinking about getting some to match for the front.

Can I get brackets that allow me to fit mini indicators in the standard front recesses? My indicators are in the headlight at the moment and I dont think they are visible enough.

Is it the mini LED indicators that make them flash fast? How do you solve that?

Can anyone identify these mini indicators?

Cheers!

Evotech do 2 versions...one for standard indicators and one for mini's.
It looks to me like the one for standard but not sure.

You'll need to make up a spacer for that plastic bracket to allow the indicators to fit tightly...I made one out of 5mm(or so) perspex-a drill,a file and voila.
Im not sure why your rubbers arent fitting properly...mine went straight in.

I would suggest asking for a replacement tail tidy-it might just be a manufacturing mistake.

I emailed Evotech, and apparently in 2005 the indicators got bigger, so as my bike is a late 2004 I've obviously got the late indicators. I need to get back to them, but I'm sure they will swap it.

But I'm not sure if I want to keep the one on my bike at the moment, any thoughts on my mini vs standard indicators debate?

Or know where I can get matching mini's?

i had the fast flashing halogen indys and in the end opted for the OE ones back on the bike, i cant see nothing wrong with OE ones personally.
