I recently bought motrax bar end mirrors for my sv, i thought to myself this should be easy to set up.. just use a phillips screwdriver to take off the bar ends and bish bash bosh your done!
But as i took my screwdirver to take off the barends i hit a problem either my bar ends dont come off or i am way too weak becuase those things just wont budge, i put WD40 on them and left it overnight and they still wont budge, anyone got any ideas? do i need to use a power drill or something like that? btw my bike is a sv650 K3 Naked |

They can be stiff. HAve you got phillips bits you can use with a ratchet? Or an impact driver?

Impact driver, or some mole grips and try to unscrew the whole bar end

Shocking your screwdriver with a hammer can often work if you're not in posession of an impact driver. Also, Plus Gas is probably the best penetrative oil out there, and isn't that pricey. Plus you'll easily get your usage out of it.
I got a seized rear spindle out of r lass's 125 using Plus Gas, it's very good stuff. |
