Default removing seat trim

I need to get to my datatool, as the siren has packed in and after speaking to a datatool tech guy, he said that i need to change the case, as this is where the siren is located. Not a big deal price wise, just £14.99. Thing is ive hade the seat off and its really well tucked away. Once the seat, and pillion seat are removed im then gona have to take off the surround to get at the alarm unit. I removed the pillion grab rail and took a few more bolts out, but it seemed to have a good hold still, maybe from underneath, not sure.
Does anyone know of a link showing you a step by step, or could someone talk me through it.

cheers!

OK, under the seats you will see screwheads with rubber mounts under [1] , you need to undo those.
Next there will be one or 2 screws holding the plastics together behind the riders seat [2]. Undo these and also remove the backing plate bit for the srew or they will fall off and you'll loose them when you try and seperate the plastics.
Near the number plate, under the seat unit, there are 2 more screws that you will need to get to and remove if you need to get the entire tail unit plastics off. Hopefully you will be able to access what you need with the tail unit in place tho by just moving the plastics out the way.
Be gentle with the plasics tho.

SV1000 portal has a step by step guide on doing this. Chin EDIT, it's in the FAQ section, post by Bjam. I can't post a link as I'm using my phone at the moment.

Shakie/Spidey, This website is an excellent resource for SV owners so I'm posting it up here for everyone to see:

www.suzukisv1000.com

Look in the FAQs, everything is there.
