Default Wrong clutch cable?

ok just had delivered a new clutch cable for my SV650SK3.
trouble is its got the part no 58200-17G00 which according to robinsons is for a K3 - i.e. not the half faired model.
I think i know the answer already to this but whats the difference and will it still fit?
thanks

The Naked's I'd guess would be longer as the bars are much higher up, you're more likely to get away with using it then if it'd been the other way round but I don't know if it'd give you too much slack. That's if there is a difference, I'm only guessing, but if they'd bothered to have different parts for each one I'm guessing so.

yep naked cables are longer lol, had these issues myself. Even suzuki sent me the wrong part, had to give them the specific part number from sources online.

You might get away with it being too long. Might have to route it a bit different, give it a go.

Or for no fuss just get your money back/replacement as they've sent the wrong bit.
