Default Fuel gauge sender fitting

I'm fairly confident my fuel gauge is faulty, it only flashes never goes constant orange (ran bike dry one because of this). Managed to find the part on the i-net (http://www.svspares.com/items/45-1_1...etrol-tank.htm)

How easy is it to fit? Simply remove old, stick in new, or is it more sophisticated?
