New- old- stock
Anyone that's got the MCN (4th Aug 2010) will have seen the piece on the new- old thousands un registered for less than a L0 GSXR600 (£8,000).
This got me thinking, what could you get for around SV Sport money (£5,500)? This is what I found in 10 minutes all from main dealers. You can pick up a 2009 KTM Superduke brand new for £7500.

This place has lots of new 'pre-reg' bikes, 2006 ZX10R for example with 24 months warranty for £5,999. Some are imports though.
