Question Best Place To Sell??

If this post is in the wrong place I apologise but I`m really just after some advice

I`m selling a 1984 Porsche 944 and I`m wondering where would be the best place to sell it? I`m not sure if it`s old enough to appeal to a porsche enthusiast and if so where do you start trying to find any porsche enthusiasts who might be interested OR would I be best just sticking in in the autotrader.

It`s an inheritance and I haven`t a clue what it`s worth so if anyone has any rough idea i`d be most grateful.

Thanks in anticipation of any replies

Also pistonheads.com is a good place to sell cars, especially cars that are interesting.

I have sold 4 vehicles on there relatively easily. My ex boss and I think my dad even managed to sell cars on there too. Plus its free!

Claire

I sold my Impreza on Pistonheads within 24 hours of advertising it - have a look at the 944 adverts on there now for a feel of what it might be worth:-

It certainly is, and other than the 924/928 it about the cheapest Porsche you can buy, so a good first step on the ladder of classic Porsche ownership. Where it not of interest to Porsche enthusiasts is where they are actually really closet VW Beetle enthusiasts (it's not a REAL Porsche because it has an Audi engine in the front ). The 86 onwards 944 Turbo's are more sought after and fetch better money. Yours must be a 2.5 Lux?

Any pics?

Because they are fun rear wheel drive cars that handle reasonably well.

Perhps you'll get a few quid more than you were hoping
