As per the title which tyre size/brand would you recommend for the GSXR 750 front whel/end conversion? and potential running pressures. Thank you all

Hi there,
Well I run a 120/60 ZR 17 on a GSXR K1-K3 front wheel. Tyres are a personal thing. I run Conti' Road Attack 2's and find them fine, excellent grip, predictable and not too quick steering. I run these at 36psi front and 42 psi rear. I'm sure there'll be some more replies along in a bit! Rich. |

Cheers for your replies. Yeah this is my dilemma 70's or 60's that is the question!!! I was thinking of taking the 60 off my sv wheel and putting it on the front of my gixxer and seeing how it goes, worth it???

Up to you. I think I went for the 70 as seem to recall it was recommended due to the forks reducing the height of the bike anyway?

Ive got a 60 and its fine, but i do tend to find it follows the road abit and need more effort to put it into corners

Whatever is the same as the rear would be a good shout.
I got good mileage out of my Avon Storm Ultra ST's and have been happy with the Dunlop Roadsmarts I currently have on. I have noticed the front seems to be wearing unevenly either side of the centre line (and appeared to on the Storms as well), so not sure if there's a set up problem. Check out the Tyres section for lots of tyre discussion/reviews. |
