Default Dropped seat bolt.

I got a bolt to fit the seat then dropped the little b*gger, I cannot find it anywhere, where's the most likely point it will go to? I heard a clank so it hit metal, I have checked chain and wheeled bike around but cannot find it anywhere!! Concerned it may cause a problem when starting up.

Assuming you were in the general area of the seat, check all round the front end of the swingarm. Lots of nooks and crannies around there to catch a bolt.

Wedged in by rear shock absorber /spring or on top of the exhaust headers/pipe

Go for a ride over some pot holes.
Buy a new bolt.

Was just concerned it may cause damage, have bounced, rocked, tilted the bike and nothing moved, or sounded like it was catching.

I did the same thing, couldn't find the bugger anywhere, assumed the garage had swallowed it, and next time I rode it found out on the M4, it had got caught in the rear brake linkage, and jammed my rear brake on slightly, cue smoke, boiling brake fluid spraying everywhere etc.
Suggest you check there!

Been out on it twice and nothing untoward. I have searched high and low for it. It was the left side as you sit on the bike, so immediate concern was chain.sprockets etc. I have a new shed for it so hadn't fell onto floor or I'd have noticed.
