Default My favourite roads in NNW Guildford

Don't think I'll be editing a trip video together like I did for Yorkshire. This trip was less about the shananigans on the road and more about the actual riding. Here are my 4 favourite sections, although there were plenty of other awesome stretches! 12 minutes of road epicness!

Nice vid mate. Screw that riding around with those sheep strolling about. Hong looked a bit rapid during one stretch.

Cheers dude. The sheep are so used to the traffic they don't make any sudden movements. They don't even flinch as you go past. And yeah, Hong is mega rapid. For an SV that needs bump starting everywhere and is falling apart, and a rider with a reputation for dropping it every 5 minutes, he's mega quick!

Got to hand it to the previous NWG administration they knew how to apply for EU funding for road surfacing. When you ride back you can tell instantly when you re-enter England as the road surfaces are rubbish.

Guess it's down to you to organise a long weekend to take in those roads next year.

Great Vid.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. I very rarely found myself lacking confidence with the surface. There is obviously water and the odd bit of gravel, but the tarmac itself is very good.

Happy to arrange a GM jaunt up there next year. Wouldn't want to leave out the guys I went with this year, so some sort of larger posy may have to be formed. Then Clare will have a few people to overtake in the form of Jammy and Bordtea.

Stop sulking thunderace, we all know the real reason,

If his gixxer is beaten by either a slower more manoeuvrable bike OR a faster one he can shrug it off but if it was dusted by both you AND hong he'd have to admit if he pushes any harder his frame will fold in half like a a cheap hooker punched in the gut by a fat man in an overcoat.

Hahahaha. Bring it mofos! Next ride out, foolishness begins. Let's put this mockery to bed.

And the reason I didn't feel empowered to invite anyone is because Christopher had planned a weekend for his friends (i.e. people he'd met!) and painstaking arranged a very plush cottage for us, negotiating hard to get bikers in there against the owner's better judgement. Not only would more bikers have been a definite no, but at least one of you wouldn't have been prepared to stump up cash! Plus I didn't hear anyone say "Tell me where you're going and I'll find my own accommodation". Had that have been said, I'd have had no quarms in giving up the location.

So in conclusion, insert your complaints into the complaint box marked "Ring piece" and then set fire to it.

Ahem, I draw all your attentions to my Ministerial position. Just say when. And accommodation? I live here! But understood. Wouldn't want to crash the party. I think realistically next year would be a good time to plan a proper trip to the glorious lands of NW Guildford (which by the way includes NNW Guildford).

P.s. Nice vid, there's a lot more where that came from!
