Default GMAR plans

Gents, Been thinking on the way home, how many attendees will have either a passport or cover to ride abroad. I'm sure it can be sorted by those who want to get it sorted but can make it a bit trickier. Also not sure if 450 miles on the first day will be do-able especially if folks have already had a longish ride to Dover. However if we go for the extended stay option we could incorporate a stop over-en-route at that campsite Nathan mentioned in herdy-gurdy country spoofelcampenorg or something.

Job, are you seeing about group travel discounts?

Yes, currently spoken to Euro Tunnel and Stenna Line/Sea France in regards to block bookings. The price break point looks to be about the 50 bike mark. The earlier we get it booked and deposit paid, we can secure 2012 prices for next year.

As fun as a European AR sounds I'd shelve that idea for another time. Maybe even make it a GMEA (GM European adventure) for later/earlier in the year.

A normal AR will have somewhere between 60-100 attendees you could probably halve that at least for a European one.

But then we would have to wait to incorporate the new Guildford region, "Guildford over the water".

The GM empire expansion will take time, no need to rush these things
