Default Which Speakers?

Hey guys I know some of you are deep into your audio, so I'm hoping that you can help.

I now have a Pioneer A-400 amp, just hooked it up to some speakers it works

Can any suggest what speakers I can get to go with the Amp please, I do like my music so I'd like to get some good speakers to go with it. I have done a bit of reseach its saying that the old school Misson speakers would be a good set to buy. Is there any other kit that would be worth having with it? Thanks.

I really want some speakers rated at 4 ohms, then it should allow for a bit more power to pumped though them! I'm not bothered about the loudest its goes, more about the quaility of the sound far more important.

Depends whos ears you use when listening. If you use mine then I'll tell you what set up I use, if you use yours then get yourself down to your local hifi place and audition some sets. Make sure you listen to them using the same amp as yours though.

Most hifi speakers these days tend to be 6 or 8ohms.

I'm not familiar with your amp but different ones match better with different speakers. Monitor audio bx2's are award winning speakers at a reasonable price, but it depends what your looking for.

The only way to see what you like is taking your amp to a shop and using their demo room. Richer sounds or superfi for example.

Last time I checked Mission don't do car speakers so I guess he's talking about a home set-up.
