Default 4 piston Tokico caliper fit SV brake lines?

does the tokico 4 pots from the gsxr bolt up to my existing sv650 braided hoses or do i use the gsxr hoses?

Thanks

If you are still using the SV master cylinder it should be ok.
I had to change the lines when I put the GSXR master on as it connects to the line from the underside rather than the side.

Just seen your thread and was wondering what year and model gsxr calipers you are using and are they a straight swap or have you had brackets made different discs ect...

Cheers Craig

Pretty sure they're all requiring adaptor brackets/gsxr forks

just about to put some tokico 4pot calipers on ebay if by any chance the op hasn't got any yet

I havent got my calipers yet.. its the gsxr 600/750 4 pot tokico calipers from k3- i believe.. The adaptor plates have to be shipped from america and should fit over your standard discs. but theres is no need to do a gsxr front end conversion. but if you want to improve braking on the standard bike then get some progressive fork springs..

Thanks for getting back to me, well im not able to ride my sv yet as Im still having rehab on my leg after a heavy crash last year but i am trying to work out what options are open to me to improve the sv without spending silly money on it.
How much have the plates cost when you include shipping and any other charges?

Cheers Craig

These are 4pot tokicos from a GSXR (unsure of year, but k1-k3 rings a bell) with 90mm spacing between the mounting bolts.

That sucks mate! the brackets are $75 ish I think and unsure of shipping.. calipers will probably set you back £100 for a decent pair and as i just found out they will bolt up right to your sv brake lines. but like I said before £116 I got progressive fork springs in the front and I got a gsxr 1000 k3 rear shock in which I got for about £30 and it bolts straight in (need to hack battery box but its easy enough). another mod for a bit more power is to remove the top of your airbox or drill/cut holes in to allow more air in. i also want some rearset risers moving the rearset position 1" back and 1" up Hope the leg gets better soon mate!
