Default Koso fuel gauage/warning light on Curvy?

I'm in the process of rebuilding a sv650 without the original clocks, so I got a Koso db-01R setup. whic was easy to wire up until I got to the fuel warning light.....

The new clocks have both the fuel gauage and warning light. I'm not too worried about the fuel gauage but since there is no reserve tank I'd like to get the warning light at least working.... Anyone had any experience getting it right?

thanks in advance for the replies.

sv650n 2000... does it change on the newer models. Maybe that is the answer a newer model fuel level sensor. The Koso clocks will work on a resistor that is 100 - 1200 ohms.

Gauge you've got no chance unless you can bodge something in... I'd say it's unlikely.

Have you just got an input for the light? Feed it voltage to illuminate lamp?

There are 2 inputs for the fuel gauge, not sure but since there is a fuel level display I'm guessing the warning light is links to the display level and the two wires are for this.

I think if I could change the ohms the resistor gives off at reserve to 100ohm it should work.
