It really wound me up too, since the royal parks are maintained by tax payers money. London would be unlivable IMHO without its parks. |

If however the event/sport organiser charges for players to play then I feel it's only fair that they should pay a fee towards the upkeep of the park. By the time you've got a few commercial organisations doing sessions there will be less space remaining for Joe Public to have a kick-about anyway.
That said though for now makes sense to me to keep it free for all but to dissuade commercial operators from getting too greedy.

where does all the charging stop if the public keep letting things like this happen, toll barriers to walk down the streets?
it's bad enough that they got away with congestion charging. where does all the money go that they raise for congestion charging. |
