Default Got to love Compare the Market - insurance.

So my insurance renewal quote came through from Bennetts for around £86 TPFT which was pretty good, but after going on Compare the Market I managed to get it down to £56 with Swinton. Pricey12 is very happy indeed

Jesus, mines £256 TPTF!!!!! that's with 3 yrs no claims, one accident (not at fault), garaged and alarmed, would have been £500+ fully comp!

I'm not quite sure why it's so low (was only 80 odd quid last year). I've only got one years no claims although am 37 with a clean licence held since 2006 which may help. Either way I'm not complaining!

Looks like I spoke to soon
When I added my added my full Arrow exhaust system (as the rather generic 'exhaust system changes') it bumped it up to £150. At least with Bennetts you can add any mods in detail, and mine don't affect the premium unlike with Swinton, so looks like I'll be staying with Bennetts after all...

Try hastings. I'm paying £180 fully comp I'm 35, 2 years ncb, kept outside, race exhaust, tail tidy and other mods. Helmet and leather cover, personal injury cover and ncb protection

Had a real bad experience with Hastings a few years back, chucked me back and forth between phone lines and ignored emails after some blame issues after an RTC. Took months to actually get any idea of what was happening!

They we're ok when I had a claim with them in a car years ago. Also had a similar quote from bike sure but they wouldn't protect my noclaims due to only having a full licence for 18 months
