GSXR front end on SV1000?
Sorry to ask what has likely been asked a million times

I'd be a bit wary of the firm given it seems they shag the bikes. They even have a sign saying so. On a technical note, I have no idea but suggest servicing the existing thou front-end before throwing too much money at it as it's not really a bad set up out of the box.

No, look worn out to me and the can't spell calipers !!! so how they can say in good working order, looks a pig in a poke to me.
Oh' and they have sex with their bikes as well.

haha I did laugh at that pic. They're a bit dirty, yeah...but I can get them for less than he's got the buy it now set at (quite a bit less in fact) so seems like a logical upgrade to me. I'm assuming you'll need a gixxer front wheel though, or will the SV's fit fine?

I've also heard those 6 pots need a lot of regular TLC and aren't any better than the 4 pots.

well they would go on, and you'd need a wheel, discs and a mudguard. and probably different bars as the thou ones are really low.

They look a) ragged and b) far too expensive for what you're getting. Pretty sure you could get a better and newer set for less. October - April is the best time to buy.

if you have the 1000 then why dont you just get the valving upgraded. contact MCT suspension and they will go threw what you want.
i done mine on a set of USD but RWU are almost identical dampers to the one in your forks. i erred on the soft side as i ride a lot of bad roads and the valving is a revelation. sticks to the road like shizz to a blanket but is also compliant so giving me a better comfier ride, some people would say it's soft i say its perfect as the tyre stays in contact with the tarmac at all times without the bike 'hopping and skipping'. which is what suspension is supposed to do. or is it you just want to be a tart... lol |
